This will produce a complete, detailed report on what products will work best for your hair type and scalp. Everything from shampoo to styling gel is designed with hair type in mind. And these products DELIVER! They made a believer out of me (and I'm a super skeptic). 
I'm still obsessing over Profound Beauty and their brilliant hair care lines. My sister and I were walking by Glow Salon in Manayunk the other day and saw a fabulous display of Profound Beauty products in their window. We happily smiled at each other, sharing a knowing look that we had some exclusive knowledge of a way to perfect hair. And indeed, we were right. Shine on!!! This does exactly what it claims and works as well as Hillary has said. I have tried some shine products with mixed results but Profound Beauty Glossary Shine Spray shined its way to the very top of the performers. It does not add any noticeable weight to your hair and cause helmut head look. 
Here at StyleCaster, we are obsessed with personalization. So I felt right at home when I visited the Profound Beauty site and had my entire hair routine customized. After answering just five questions, they were able to suggest the 90/10 shampoo, 5/95 conditioner, Anti-Oxidant Mask, and In-Salon Treatment. I could have gone ahead and answered the additional five questions for après-shampoo products, but I swear even hairspray makes my hair limp (and to be honest, I'm not exactly known for my patience). 
When naming Profound Beauty's most loved collection, they couldn't have been more right calling it the "Stylist." We love giving the gift of a personal "Stylist" to our friends. This seemingly tame bottle packs its sweet-scented, super spray inside until it's unleashed at 75 miles per hour with a simple press of a button. 
In the past, I’ve used a variety of "curl enhancing" products to see if I could get away with the 'wash and go' look. I've never succeeded with that look but figure it's worth trying products just incase I come across one that works. Profound Beauty has a great line of curl products out. The one that's working for me is the Curl Serum. It leaves my hair soft, not crunchy, and the curls have a lot of volume! Beauty breakthrough: profound beauty desert sand So while a move to a more arid, desert-y climate may not be possible, I can still channel that dry desert air with Profound Beauty Atmosphere Desert Sand. A controlling gel and cream fusion product from salon brand Profound Beauty, Desert Sand works to change hair's "relative humidity" to manage it into submission, making it behave like it's somewhere else (in this case, the land of cactuses and tumbleweeds). Now, I'm often skeptical of serum-type concoctions to tame frizz as they tend to be greasy, but this one actually made my hair fuller and softer than before; it brings texture and separation without weighing hair down or making it feel "crunchy." You can run it through your hair and let it air-dry on those lazy days when you don't want to do much to it and it works equally well when you use it with a hairdryer. With Desert Sand, I now feel ready to combat summer in the city. 
My hair has grown out past shoulder length and is so much heavier than the shorter "Do's" I've been sporting the past few years. I actually found the Structure Lock spray to be just what I needed for not only a styling spray but a finishing spray as well. I sprayed this product at the root and it held the height and body of the hair extremely well with no flattening all day and into the evening. 
It is always a delight when I find something that really works, in this case, for my hair. I usually need haircare products that bring deep moisture to my hair and styling products that give weight and texture to tame my unruly ends.
